The Jammu and Kashmir Government has taken action against the grandson of the Hurriyat leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani. Anees-ul-Islam, the grandson of Syed Ali Shah Geelani, has been sacked. He was working as Research Officer at Sher-e-Kashmir International Convention Center. He was appointed in the year 2016 under the Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Department.
