The Congress has also geared up for the next year's Uttar Pradesh assembly elections. The party has appointed PL Punia, the state in-charge of Chhattisgarh Congress, as the chairman of the Uttar Pradesh Election Campaign Committee. The party has taken this decision on Friday. Publicity committee has also been formed. Along with this, the election campaign committee of 20 members of Congress has been announced on Friday.

अगले साल होने वाली Uttar Pradesh assembly elections के लिए Congress ने भी कमर कस ली है। पार्टी ने Chhattisgarh Congress के प्रदेश प्रभारी PL Punia को Uttar Pradesh Election Campaign Committee. का चेयरमैन बनया है।पार्टी ने ये फैसला शुक्रवार को लिया है, बता दें, विधानसभा चुनाव को देखते हुए पार्टी ने चुनावी रणनीति व योजना समिति, चुनाव समन्वय समिति और चुनाव प्रचार समिति का भी गठन किया है। इसके साथ ही कांग्रेस की 20 सदस्यों की इलेक्‍शन कैंपेन कमेटी की घोषणा शुक्रवार को कर दी है।
