Intelligent Design - Smart creation beautifully designed. Shouting aloud!

Intelligent design is a replay of instances in my life where I've seen things like the sunsets and the ocean where I grew up in New England and the Rocky Mountains that I saw on a long trip across the country with my daughter and the birth of my four children. All these events, when you see things like them, they cause you to think.. "there is something more going on here than just random happenings, the big bang and all these theories we have conjured up to replace a Supreme Intelligence.

These are unbelievable wonders and I can't help but believe there is an intelligence behind the design. Especially when you look down into your babies' eyes, you know - you know that this is not just protoplasm, this is a life and it's a miracle. So the song Intelligent design is an effort to debunk viewpoints that flat out ignore the volume of evidence around us, the facts, the beauty and the designed intent.

One of the lines in the song is "it takes more faith to believe the lie, than to look around at the evidence you find." It truly requires more mental, emotional and spiritual muscle to keep ignoring the truth and support the lie than to just look around, wide eyed and full of wonder. Believing in God as the Supreme Intelligence behind the design opens your mind to the love that went into the creation.

On a cold winter day in New England, there is nothing like a hot soup or chowder. What's better is that same hot soup or chowder made by my wife. I can taste the love that went into it. It's the same with creation. The grass did not have to be green; it could have been grey. The sky did not have to radiate blue; it too could have been grey. Birds do not have to sing, food doesn't have to have taste and things don't have to smell good. All of these were given to us in the design as yet another statement from our real Father that says "I love you, and I'll take care of you..." just come to Me.

Some will have ruffled feathers over this topic I know; everyone has their opinion and they are respectfully entitled to it. I simply wanted to share my opinion based on the experiences I've had and the things I've been shown.

Hope you enjoy.
