Durga Puja 2021: An insight of Navratri celebrations

Durga Puja is the most awaited festival of the year in India. The whole country comes together to celebrate the nine avatars of Goddess Durga, to receive her blessings. On the last day of Shardiya Navratri, married Bengali Hindu women offer vermilion or sindoor to Goddess Durga's feet and face and apply it on each other. This ritual is known as Sindoor Khela.
