Klang MP Charles Santiago and Pandamaran assemblyperson Leong Tuck Chee has asked a local developer to not appeal a ruling by the Shah Alam High Court that had dismissed an eviction order against a group of residents in Pandamaran, Klang.

Yesterday the residents had won the case which was filed by the developer against them last year.

Charles said the ongoing struggle between the developer and residents have been going on for the last 20 years and he urged them not appeal as negotiations with the state government are still ongoing.

Negotiations between the state government, residents, and the developer to build replacement housing units were still ongoing last November when the residents suddenly received an eviction order.
