Mumbai cyber cell's email hacked, infected file sent to other units. Phishing mails sent from email ID of Mumbai Police's cyber (East) division.
MUMBAI: The email ID of the east region cyber cell of Mumbai police was hacked on Tuesday and phishing mails sent to other police cells, with an infected PDF attachment. This is the second recent hacking attack on a Maharashtra government entity, the first being the October 2020 malware-caused power grid failure.
