Malabar exercise: India, US Navy Chiefs embark on American aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson

Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Karambir Singh and US Navy Chief of Naval Operations Admiral Michael Gilday embarked on Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson during the ongoing second phase of the Malabar exercise in the Bay of Bengal on October 14. Admiral Gilday hosted 12 senior Indian Navy officers aboard USS Carl Vinson. A 4-day exercise by QUAD nations in Bay of Bengal. Malabar exercise was first conducted in 1992 between India and US. This exercise is an example of defense collaboration between Indian, US, Japan and Australia.
