The ninth day of Navratri is named after Maa Siddhidatri. People end the worship of Navratri by fasting on this day. It is believed that offering sesame seeds to the mother on this day gives special results. On Navami, the mother should offer homemade kheer and pudding-puri. Worshiping Maa Siddhidatri brings happiness and peace in a person's life.
