In Madhya Pradesh, the matter has become heated for chanting Bharat Mata ki Jai. The incident is from Agar Malwa district of Madhya Pradesh where some boys of a particular religion did not chant Bharat Mata ki Jai after the national anthem Jana Gana Mana in a private school in Barod police station. While other students found it overwhelming to chant Bharat Mata ki Jai to these youths, Karnataka's Bagalkot district police arrested 8 members after clashes broke out between two religious groups in Ilkal town.

मध्य प्रदेश में भारत माता की जय बोलने को लेकर मामला गरमा गया है. घटना मध्य प्रदेश के आगर मालवा जिले की है जहां बड़ौद थाना के एक निजी स्कूल में राष्ट्रगान जन गण मन के बाद एक धर्म विशेष के कुछ लड़कों ने भारत माता की जय नहीं कहा. जबकी अन्य छात्रों द्वारा इन युवकों को भारत माता की जय बोलना भारी पड़ गया, वंही कर्नाटक के बागलकोट जिला पुलिस ने इलकल कस्बे में दो धार्मिक समूहों के बीच झड़प के बाद 8 सदस्यों को गिरफ्तार किया
