Gitlab Looks To $10 Billion Valuation Ahead Of Ipo
  • 3 years ago
GitLab, the popular coding platform, is looking at a $10 billion valuation ahead of its U.S listing. As a result, the firm has raised its initial price range to somewhere between $66 and $69 per share. The IPO could raise more than $700 million, helping the firm expand its catalog of online tools. GitHubs’s good fortune proves that the U.S. IPO market is not suffering, even though the constant threat of Evergrande ($EGRNF@China) bond defaults lingers, making IPOs in the U.S. far more resilient than those in Europe. Goldman Sachs ($GS@US), J.P. Morgan ($JPM@US), and Bank of America ($BAC@US) Securities are underwriting the offering.
