BJP General Secretary CT Ravi reacted to Karnataka Health Minister K Sudhakar’s opinion on “modern women” and cited “western influence and micro families” as the reasons for changing mindset. “Every woman is not like this... It is happening because of western influence and micro families. In India, we still have faith in family unlike countries such as the USA and UK,” said CT Ravi to ANI. Dr K Sudhakar on October 10 said that “there has been a paradigm shift in modern women's thinking as they want to stay single and prefer to have children through surrogacy after marriage.”
