Virgilio Almario penned ‘May Tatlong Bituin ang Aking Watawat’ – which has been shared over a thousand times on Facebook.
Almario also known by his pen name Rio Alma is honoring Ressa, alongside two other Filipinas: Hidilyn Diaz, the first Filipino Olympic gold medalist; and Vice President Leni Robredo, opposition leader and presidential aspirant.
