The first qualifier match of the 14th season of the Indian Premier League was played at the Dubai ground, where the team of Chennai Super Kings returned to the winning track after losing 3 consecutive matches and defeated Delhi Capitals to make it to the final. CSK reached here after suffering losses in the last 3 matches of the league stage but dominated their experience in the qualifiers to win the chase for the sixth time this season. With this win, CSK's team has made it to the finals for the 9th time in the IPL, out of which they have already won the title 3 times.


इंडियन प्रीमियर लीग के 14वें सीजन का पहला क्वालिफायर मैच दुबई के मैदान पर खेला गया जहां पर चेन्नई सुपर किंग्स की टीम ने लगातार 3 मैचों में हार के बाद जीत की पटरी पर वापसी की और दिल्ली कैपिटल्स को हरा कर फाइनल में जगह बना ली है। सीएसके की टीम लीग स्टेज के आखिरी 3 मैचों में हार का सामना करने के बाद यहां पर पहुंची थी लेकिन क्वॉलिफायर में अपने अनुभव का दबदबा बनाते हुए इस सीजन छठी बार रनों का पीछा करते हुए जीत हासिल की। इस जीत के साथ ही सीएसके की टीम ने आईपीएल में 9वीं बार फाइनल में जगह बना ली है, जिसमें से 3 बार वो पहले ही खिताब जीत चुकी है।
