In light of the Lakhimpur Kheri violence, Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra visited farmer Lovepreet Singh and journalist Raman Kashyap’s residences. They lost their lives during violence in Lakhimpur Kheri on October 3. They also visited deceased Nakshatra Singh’s residence in Naya Purwa village.
“Families are not satisfied with post mortem reports and want action against the culprit... Everyone knows who it is. They are not being arrested as their father is MoS Home. We have come here to pressurise and ensure justice is served to these families,” said Rahul Gandhi.
