The last rites of the four farmers killed in the Lakhimpur Kheri incident have been done. Gurvinder Singh, the fourth deceased farmer in the violence, was also cremated early this morning. After a dispute over the post-mortem report of a farmer, Gurvinder Singh was again autopsied and the last rites have been performed in the native village. Gurvinder Singh was killed in the violence on Sunday and was cremated three days after the incident. After persuading farmer leader Rakesh Tikait, the postmortem of Gurvinder was done again late at night. After the post-mortem report came on Tuesday, the family members had demanded the postmortem again, saying the report was wrong and the funeral was stopped. After this, the postmortem of Gurvinder's body was performed again. The team of doctors from Lucknow conducted the post-mortem in the night and then the family agreed to perform the last rites.
