CSK made a big score of 189 runs for 4 wickets in 20 overs thanks to opener Rituraj Gaikwad's century. But the bowlers of CSK could not defend this big target. And Rajasthan won the match by 7 wickets with 15 balls remaining. After the defeat, CSK captain MS Dhoni revealed the reason for the defeat. He said that the match got out of hand in the power play itself.

आईपीएल 2021 (IPL 2021) में शनिवार को खेले गए 47वें मुकाबले में चेन्नई (CSK) को राजस्थान (RR) के हाथों हार का सामना करना पड़ा. सीएसके ने ओपनर रितुराज गायकवाड़ (Ruturaj Gaikwad) के शतक की बदौलत 20 ओवर में 4 विकेट पर 189 रनों का बड़ा स्कोर खड़ा किया. लेकिन सीएसके (CSK) के गेंदबाद इस बड़े लक्ष्य का बचाव नहीं कर पाए. और राजस्थान ने 15 गेंद शेष रहते 7 विकेट से मैच अपने नाम कर लिया. हार के बाद सीएसके के कप्तान एमएस धोनी (MS Dhoni) ने हार की वजह का खुलासा किया. उन्होंने कहा कि पॉवर प्ले में ही मैच हाथ से निकल गया था.
