Chief of the Army Staff General Manoj Mukund Narvane is on a two-day-long visit to the forward areas in Ladakh to assess military deployment, review preparedness, and boost the morale of soldiers deployed following the intense stand-off with China. Indian Army deploys K-9 Vajra at LAC to tackle Chinese threats. K-9 Vajra is a self-propelled howitzer that can target enemies far away. K-9 Vajra was inducted into the army in 2018.
