Ime Udoka On Last Year's Team Ranking 20th In Pace: "We've Really Emphasized Upping That" | 9-30

Auerbach Center -- Celtics Head Coach Ime Udoka spoke to reporters on Thursday after the Celtics third training camp practice.

Udoka on pace: "The multiple ball-handlers we have, guys that can push it ... Al showed that ... how he can really push the ball ... we've used Bam and Draymond in Team USA that way and it puts a tremendous amount of pressure ... 20th in pace, we've really emphasized upping that"..."Pace gets misconstrued with transition ... be less ball stoppers, the easy thing and natural thing is to find the mismatch and isolate."

Ime also said Al Horford looks great right now saying: "You can see with (Horford)'s body and how he's playing, he looks fresh ... rejuvenated."

He also talked about potential personnel/rotations: "We want to look at everything honestly ... it's finding the right balance for our bench as well ... try to find what fits best for us."

Udoka has a big emphasis playmaking for Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown saying he wants to: "Help them understand who they are and the attention they draw .. not all men are created equal on the basketball court .. film work, pointing it out, when they're shooting over two guys, someone's wide open .. they've done a great job getting guys involved."
