Millions of people in NSW, Victoria and the ACT are set to be cut off from COVID disaster payments within weeks of the jurisdictions hitting key vaccination targets. The treasurer now says when a state or territory hits 70 per cent vaccination, people will have to reapply for that payment. After they hit 80 per cent, the funding will be turned off.
