Manchester United tasted their first defeat in the Premier League this season after losing to Aston Villa in week six, Saturday 25 September 2021. This negative result forced the Red Devils to drop to fourth in the standings.

Villa was able to frustrate Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men throughout the game. They had difficulty penetrating the Villa defense raised by Tyrone Mings cs.
