For Australians in aged care, lockdowns can be particularly challenging. Some residents of aged care facilities in New South Wales, Victoria and the ACT have now gone months without visitors or much social interaction. Mandatory vaccinations for residential aged care workers across Australia are now in place, in a bid to protect elderly residents from the virus.
