Pitru Paksha 2021. This time Shradh Paksha, the festival of worship of ancestors for sixteen days, is being celebrated for 17 days. The reason for this is that the Shashti date of Krishna Paksha of Ashwin month will be two days on 26th and 27th September. Since the date is two days, the relatives are in a state of confusion regarding the Shradh to be done on the sixth date of their ancestors. In some almanacs, it is considered appropriate to do Shradh on 26th and in some to 27th on Shashthi Tithi. on the day of Shradh Paksha, the day which prevails in the afternoon, the Shradh of the person related to that date is done on the same day. That is, after the completion of the date in the afternoon, it is considered appropriate to perform Shradh for the person with the respective date. This time Shashthi Tithi is on two days 26th and 27th in the afternoon. According to the scriptures, Shradh should be performed on the day when Aparanha Vyapini Tithi is more than 60 clocks. Due to this, it would be appropriate to perform Shradh of Shashthi on 27th September.

Pitru Paksha 2021। इस बार सोलह दिनी पितरों के पूजन का पर्व श्राद्ध पक्ष 17 दिन मनाया जा रहा है। इसका कारण आश्विन मास के कृष्ण पक्ष की षष्ठी तिथि 26 व 27 सितंबर को दो दिन होना है। तिथि दो दिन होने से स्वजन अपने पुरखों के षष्ठी तिथि को होने वाले श्राद्ध को लेकर असमंजस की स्थिति में है। कुछ पंचांगों में 26 को तो कुछ में 27 को षष्ठी तिथि के श्राद्ध करना उचित बताया गया है। ज्योतिषाचार्यों के मुताबिक श्राद्ध पक्ष में जिस दिन अपरान्ह में जो तिथि व्याप्त हो उसी दिन उस तिथि से संबंधित जातक का श्राद्ध किया जाता है। यानि दोपहर में तिथि के पूर्ण होने पर संबंधित तिथि वाले जातक का श्राद्ध करना उचित माना गया है। इस बार षष्ठी तिथि दो दिन 26 व 27 तारीख को दोपहर में है। शास्त्रों के अनुसार जिस दिन अपरान्ह व्यापिनी तिथि 60 घड़ी से अधिक हो उसी दिन उस तिथि का श्राद्ध करना चाहिए। इसके चलते 27 सितंबर को षष्ठी का श्राद्ध करना उचित होगा।
