Rohini court shootout: Case handed over to crime branch

The Delhi Police Crime Branch has taken over the case of a shootout inside Rohini courtroom in which jailed gangster Jitender Maan alias Gogi was killed along with his two assailants. The turf war between two rival gangs broke out inside a crowded Rohini courtroom on Friday afternoon when two assailants, who were dressed in lawyers' robes, shot at Gogi, killing him on the spot. The two assailants, who targeted gangster Jitender Gogi, are believed to have simply walked into the court in the Black and White lawyers' uniform. They sat in the courtroom shortly before the case was to come up for hearing. Since they were in uniform, the security personnel at the entry gates did not scan them. Even while stepping into the court building, it is likely that they were simply not asked for ID. Watch this episode.
