Initialement prévu dimanche 26 septembre à 14 heures, le départ est repoussé de 24 heures. La situation météorologique, avec notamment le passage d’un front annoncé dans la nuit de dimanche à lundi a contraint les organisateurs et la Direction de course à modifier le programme afin de garantir un maximum de sécurité aux 90 concurrents. Ces derniers s’élanceront ainsi le lundi 27 septembre à 14 heures pour la première étape.

Initially scheduled for Sunday 26 September at 14:00 hours local time, the start has now been pushed back 24 hours. The weather situation, with the notable passage of a front announced on Sunday night through into Monday offshore of the Coast of Light, has forced the organisers and Race Management to modify the programme to guarantee the safety of the 90 competitors as much as possible. The start will be given at 14:00 on Monday 27 September.
