Anand Giri and Aadya Tiwari have been sent to 14-day judicial custody in the death case of Mahant Narendra Giri. Anand Giri was detained on Monday night in Haridwar after a case for abetting suicide was lodged against him, ADG (Law and Order) Prashant Kumar said. The chief priest of Hanuman temple, Aadya Tiwari, was also arrested on Tuesday. This is the second arrest made by the police in the case.

After India's relentless pressure, the United Kingdom announced changes in its travel and quarantine rules and recognised the made-in-India Covishield as a Covid-19 vaccine. However, the new rules would not allow Indians with Covishield to skip UK's quarantine.
