Khairy: Putrajaya spent RM593 million since 2020 on additional medical equipment

Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin said there are currently no plans to build permanent Covid-19-only hospitals.
He was responding to Abdullah Sani Abdul Hamid (Harapan-Kapar) who asked if the government has any intention of building such hospitals.
Khairy also revealed that Putrajaya has spent RM593 million since 2020 on additional medical equipment such as Intensive Care Unit (ICU) beds and ventilators.
They have also received RM148 million in contributions, he added.
