We have to consider Afghan children as our own: Nobel Laureate Kailash Satyarthi
  • 3 years ago
Stating that children are the worst sufferers in any war or insurgencies, Nobel Laureate Kailash Satyarthi, who has recently been appointed as UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Advocate, called for prompt and sustainable efforts for the protection of Afghan children.

Speaking to ANI, Satyarthi said, "It's unfortunate that most marginalised children and their issues have not been put in priority in global political, social and economic agenda. They have to be given fullest opportunities to grow and to be educated.”
