Congress leader Charanjit Singh Channi has been made the new Chief Minister of Punjab. He has been elected the leader of the Congress Legislature Party. Harish Rawat, in-charge of Punjab Congress gave this information by tweeting. Till some time ago, the name of Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa was going on, but Channi's name was announced at the last moment.

कांग्रेस नेता चरणजीत सिंह चन्नी (Charanjit Singh Channi) को पंजाब (Punjab) का नया मुख्यमंत्री (New CM) बनाया गया है. उन्हें कांग्रेस विधायक दल का नेता चुना गया है. इसकी जानकारी पंजाब कांग्रेस के प्रभारी हरीश रावत (Harish Rawat) ने ट्वीट करके दी. कुछ देर पहले तक सुखजिंदर सिंह रंधावा (Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa) का नाम आगे चल रहा था, लेकिन आखिरी मौके पर चन्नी के नाम की घोषणा कर दी गई.
