The ICC T20 World Cup will start immediately after the second phase of IPL 14, for which Indian players will get time to prepare in the IPL. But before any ICC event, all the teams have to play practice matches which will be played this year as well. The news of India's practice matches has come, in which India will be played 2 warm-up matches on October 18 and 20 in the UAE. No information has been received about which team these matches will be against, but it is being speculated that these two matches of India can be against England and Australia.

आईपीएल 14 के दूसरे चरण के तुरंत बाद ICC टी20 वर्ल्ड कप शुरू हो जायेगा जिसके लिए भारतीय खिलाड़ियों को आईपीएल में तैयारियां करने का समय मिल जायेगा। मगर किसी भी ICC इवेंट से पहले सभी टीमों अभ्यास मैच खेलने होते है जो इस साल भी खेले जायेंगे। भारत के अभ्यास मैचों की खबर आ गई है जिसमे भारत को 2 अभ्यास मैच 18 और 20 अक्टूबर को यूएई में खेले जाएंगे। ये मैच किस टीम खिलाफ होंगे इसके बारे में अभी कोई जानकारी नहीं मिली है मगर ऐसा अनुमान लगाया जा रहा है की भारत के ये दो मैच इंग्लैंड और ऑस्ट्रेलिया के खिलाफ हो सकते हैं।
