One of the fasts and festivals of Bhadaun i.e. Bhadrapada month is celebrated on Shukla Chaturdashi of this month, which is called Anant Chaturdashi. On this day Anant i.e. Lord Shri Hari i.e. Lord Vishnu is worshipped. Along with this, fourteen knots of cotton or silk thread are dyed with red kumkum and worshiped with full rituals and are tied on their wrists.

भादौं यानि भाद्रपद मास के व्रत व त्यौहारों में एक व्रत इस माह की शुक्ल चतुर्दशी को मनाया जाता है, जिसे अनंत चतुर्दशी कहा जाता है। इस दिन अनंत यानि भगवान श्री हरि यानि भगवान विष्णु की पूजा की जाती है। साथ ही सूत या रेशम के धागे को चौदह गांठे लगाकर लाल कुमकुम से रंग कर पूरे विधि विधान से पूजा कर अपनी कलाई पर बांधा जाता है।
