Supreme Court Collegium approves appointment of Chief Justice in 8 High Courts. The Supreme Court Collegium has approved the appointment of Chief Justices of eight High Courts simultaneously in the country. This is the first time that the collegium has approved the appointment of so many Chief Justices simultaneously. Apart from this, the collegium has also given its approval for the transfer of about two dozen High Court judges.

सुप्रीम कोर्ट की कॉलेजियम (Supreme Court Collegium) ने देश में एक साथ आठ हाईकोर्ट (High Court) के चीफ जस्टिस (Chief Justice) की नियुक्ति को मंजूरी दे दी है. ऐसा पहली बार है जब कॉलेजियम ने एक साथ इतने चीफ जस्टिस की नियुक्ति को मंजूरी दी हो. इसके अलावा कॉलेजियम ने करीब दो दर्जन हाईकोर्ट (High Court) के जजों के तबादले को भी अपनी मंजूरी दे दी है.
