俄羅斯與白俄羅斯於9月10日至16日，舉行聯合軍演「Zapad-2021」。Zapad-2021(西部2021)是俄羅斯武裝部隊戰區級演習之一，通常會聯合多國一起舉行，重點於打擊恐怖分子的行動，本次軍演共有20萬士兵參加，在靠近波羅的海和波蘭邊境進行，出動100多架飛機、160輛坦克和10多艘軍艦，以及5600件武器與軍事裝備。
The main stage of the Zapad-2021 Russian-Belarusian joint strategic drills was held at the Mulino testing ground of Russia's Nizhny Novgorod region on Monday.
During the first stage of the drills, the Russian artillery and helicopter gunships involved suppressed the intruding enemy with heavy fire, and then the multiple rocket launcher BM-30 Smerch, assisted by drones, launched precise strike and successfully destroyed the command post of the simulated enemy 40 kilometers away.
Afterwards, the Russian Air Force sent out multiple Su-27 fighters and took control of the airspace, and then four sets of Iskander ballistic missile systems were enacted to smash the fortress and the heavily armored cavalry of the imagined enemy within four minutes.
Finally, combat robots such as Uran-9 were airdropped to the battlefield to wipe out the remaining enemy troops.
