Chong Wei donates funds to build 34 additional beds for Bukit Mertajam Hospital

Bukit Mertajam Hospital is getting additional 34 beds for Covid-19 patients thanks to the RM243,000 donation from former badminton world No 1 shuttler Lee Chong Wei, who donated RM243,000 through his foundation.

Penang Covid-19 coordinator and Bukit Mertajam MP Steven Sim, shared the news on his Facebook on Friday and thanked Lee’s foundation for contributing the entire cost of the project.
