Brian Lara fine, to be discharged from hospital soon

Brian Lara, who was admitted to a hospital in Mumbai on Tuesday after complaints of chest pain, is fine. He will be in observation for a day before being discharged. West Indies batting legend Brian Lara was admitted to Global Hospital in Parel after he complained of chest pain. He underwent angiography at the hospital. Lara, one of the greatest batsmen of all time, is in Mumbai as an expert for a sports network for the 2019 Cricket Word Cup. He holds the record for the highest first-class score (501 not out) and the highest individual Test score (400 not out). From 1990 to 2007, Brian Lara played 131 Tests 11953 runs including 34 hundreds and 48 fifties. In 299 ODIs, Lara hit 10405 runs, 19 hundreds and 63 fifties.
