ICC World Test Championship : India to kick start campaign Vs West Indies
  • 3 years ago
India will tour the West Indies and the USA for a series which will follow the World Cup. The tour will start with two back to back T20Is in Florida on August 3 and 4, followed by the final T20I in Guyana on August 6. The T20I series will be followed by a three-match ODI series, where the first match will again be played in Guyana on August 8. The teams will travel to Trinidad for the next two games on August 11 and August 14 respectively. However, India kickstarting their World Test Championship campaign will be the highlight of the tour. Virat Kohli and co. will take on the hosts between August 22 and 26, nearly a week after the limited-overs series at Antigua's Sir Vivian Richards Stadium. The final Test will be played at Sabina Park in Jamaica between August 30 and September 3, post which India will host South Africa. Cricket West Indies Chief Executive Officer Johnny Gravem expressed his delight over the island nations' hosting the series.
