iPhone 13 Shows Strong Sales In China

More Chinese consumers are ordering Apple’s ($AAPL@US) latest iPhone now compared to last year. More than 2 million pre-orders have been placed for the iPhone 13. That is compared to the previous year’s 1.5 million pre-orders for the iPhone 12. China is one of Apple’s most important markets, and signs of sales growth going into the holiday quarter are essential. The new phone boasts a smaller display cutout and a larger battery that provides 1.5 to 2.5 hours more battery life. The camera modules are now displayed diagonally. Apple’s Tuesday unveiling event has not swayed investors. Company stock remains relatively flat for the week.
