Amazon Introduces Palm Swipe Technology For Concerts

Amazon ($AMZN@US) is bringing Amazon One, its latest palm recognition technology, to the Red Rocks Amphitheater in Denver, Colorado. Attendees will be able to use their hand as a ticket, and this technology will be available at Red Rocks before other venues in the coming months. This will be the first time the technology will be used outside Amazon stores, where shoppers can pay for food or other items by swiping their palm. Concertgoers can sign up to connect their palm to a ticketing account by hovering their hand over a device ahead of the event. After this initial sign-up, users can then use their palm as a ticket to get into other shows and venues that use the technology. No Amazon account is required to use it.
