'July 9, 2021 - A day Carlos Aldaravi (& the rest of the world) will remember forever.

Filmed by Alejandro Samper Carlomagno, this video features Carlos setting a new Kitesurfing record for the longest Hangtime of more than 60 SECONDS, beating the previous record of 37 seconds.

The subject achieved this historic feat while flying over the waters of Valdevaqueros Beach, situated in Tarifa, Cádiz, Spain.

Carlos wrote: "I took a plane to Tarifa just for the weekend. I was hoping to set the world record and I did it!"

The kiteboarding pro also stated that his incredible accomplishment comprised 20 kite loops, with the wind speeds estimated at between 30 and 50 knots. Moreover, he covered a distance of around 1 kilometer.
