The idol makers begin creating Lalbaugcha Raja’s idol 1.5 months prior to the festival. Idol makers follow a strict religious regime during the creation of Ganesha idols. People from every faith and religion participate in the Visarjan procession. After the visarjan, lalbaugh’s streets remain empty, the air is filled with memories of the Jatra.
