With great religious enthusiasm, the residents of Mysuru have started the preparation for the famous Dasara festival with arrival of elephants to Mysuru Palace. As part of rituals, elephants were offered jaggery. Mysuru Dasara (Dussehra) is celebrated for 10 days. The famous Mysuru Palace is lit up, making for a stunning sight.
