John Arcilla won the Volpi Cup for Best Actor Award at the Venice International Film Festival
In his award-winning performance on, “On The Job: The Missing 8” directed by Erik Matti,
Arcilla plays the role of a journalist who investigates the mysterious disappearance of his colleagues, and a prisoner who is temporarily freed to carry out assassinations. The Volpi cup was received by director Erik Matti while Arcilla gave his speech via webcam.
