Social media plays a vital role in the fight against COVID-19. We are bombarded by all kinds of news and information on our Facebook and Twitter feeds, some of them are true, others dubious and still others downright inaccurate or what we call 'fake news'. But how would you know which is which?
A group of nursing students from the University of Santo Tomas thought of creating an artificial intelligence tool to help fight infomedic during health crisis. Their pitch won the 'Generation Connect Video Pitch Challenge' by the United Nations International Telecommunication Union.
