Academic City is a part of the Sovetsky District of the city of Novosibirsk, Russia, located 30 km south of the city center and about 10 km west of the Science town Koltsovo.
There are situated 35 research institutes, a medical academy, apartment buildings and houses, and a variety of community amenities including stores, hotels, hospitals, restaurants and cafes, cinemas, clubs, and libraries.
The House of Scientists also includes a picture gallery, lecture halls, and a concert hall. Academic City has a population of 130,000.

- The average rent price is $266 per month for a one-bedroom apartment near the Subway in Novosibirsk.
- Housing prices in Novosibirsk City start from $20,000 for a one-bedroom apartment in a suburban area and $35,000 for a one-bedroom apartment near the Subway stations.
- Uber ~ $2 to $5 per trip.
