Police crack down on ketum in Johor, three civil servants among 17 arrested

Police have arrested 17 people including an Indonesian woman for processing and selling ketum leaves and juice in a series of raids last week.

Johor police chief Comm Datuk Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay told a press conference on Tuesday (Sept 7) that three civil servants, aged between 32 and 42, were also detained for consuming ketum juice.
