On Monday, the Taliban claimed that Panjshir province, the last stronghold of anti-Taliban resistance forces in Afghanistan, was "completely conquered". They said the country was now finally "out of the vortex of war". In a video, armed Taliban fighters can be seen entering the Governor's house in Panjshir province and hoisting their flag. They can also be seen walking around different areas of the province and getting into helicopters.
