Farmer protesters head to Muzaffarnagar in Uttar Pradesh for mega mahapanchayat tomorrow. Farmers are likely to mobilize support against UP in upcoming Assembly polls. The move is being looked at as a bid by farm leaders to create an anti-BJP sentiment. More than 300 farmers' unions will participate in this. The farmers are breaking into small groups from Tikri & Ghazipur border and using buses to reach Muzaffarnagar. 5000 volunteers have also been appointed to ensure safe and chaos-free movement.
