The Centre signed a tripartite named Karbi Peace Accord on Saturday in the presence of the Union Home Minister Amit Shah, the Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, and the representatives of Karbi outfits here in the national capital. This accord is significant as the insurgency by Karbi which is a major ethnic community of Assam. Watch this video.
