Ever since Afghanistan was occupied by the Taliban, it was believed that perhaps the future of cricket in Afghanistan would be in danger, but the Taliban have made it clear with their decisions that Afghanistan is in support of the game. Under the rule of Taliban, the Afghanistan team is going to participate in the World Cup to be held this year, which is a matter of great happiness for Afghanistan cricket.But now the Taliban wants to take Afghanistan cricket to the top and for this they want Afghanistan to have a Test series with India.

तालिबान में अफ़ग़ानिस्तान का कब्ज़ा होने के बाद से ही ऐसी माना जा रहा था की शायद अब अफ़ग़ानिस्तान में क्रिकेट का भविष्य खतरे में होगा, मगर तालिबान ने अपने फैसलों से ये बात साफ़ कर दी है की वो अफ़ग़ानिस्तान ने खेल के समर्थन में है। तालिबान के राज में अफ़ग़ानिस्तान की टीम इस साल होने वाले विश्व कप हिस्सा लेने जा जो की अफ़ग़ानिस्तान क्रिकेट के लिए बेहद ख़ुशी की बात है। मगर अब तालिबान अफ़ग़ानिस्तान क्रिकेट को और उपर ले जाना चाहता है और इसके लिए वो चाहता है की अफ़ग़ानिस्तान का भारत के साथ टेस्ट सीरीज़ कराइ जाए।
