Mastercard ($MA@US) has agreed to a deal with Verizon ($VZ@US) that will focus on creating 5G contactless payments. This new initiative will be for individual consumers and small and medium-sized businesses to launch by 2023. Mastercard was trading 0.58% higher at press time this morning, while Verizon was up 0.45%.
