In an interview on Wednesday, famous British artist Damien Hirst said that he sees a future where NFTs outlast art galleries. Hirst recently created his NFT collection dubbed “The Currency,” a collection of 10,000 NFTs that cost $2,000 apiece. An NFT sold for a record $69 million earlier this year, while the most expensive physical art piece has gone for $450.3 million.
